I recently had the luxury of spending the morning at the new WOW (ways of wellness) Organic Beauty Salon on Kloof Street. It’s 100% organic, meaning all products used in the treatments and sold are organic and natural.
I was treated to a Deep Cleanse ESSE Facial, ESSE being an organic South African skin product with 10 years of scientific research behind it. The Salon is a simple no-fuss no-frills eco space and the drop in no appointment needed policy is right up my alley. I loved the Microderm Exfoliator with Jojoba waxes for improved elasticity and UV barrier function, it also contains Rooibos extract which decreases melanontic pigmentation and improves circulation. Another favourite was the Kaolin and Bentonite Clay mask which draws out impurities and toxins associated with environmental pollution. I left feeling clean, calm and radiant.
