New Prestwich Collection Showroom

While I’ll still have to lust online – Capetonians & visitors can soon visit the all new Prestwich Showroom for stylish local finds!

Says Lynn from Prestwich Collection:

“After a lengthy search we have very carefully selected our space in the stunning and trendy Mason’s Press building in Woodstock, Cape Town to house our Prestwich Collection retail showroom and office. It’s light, it’s bright, it’s colourful, and although it is a showroom rather than a shopfront retail space, we welcome customers in Cape Town to pop in and check out our products in the flesh and have a browse and a coffee. Customers are also able to purchase here as we have credit card, cash and Snapscan facilities! To celebrate the launch of our exciting showroom space, we are having a shopping and champagne party on Friday 1 April from 3pm – 6:30pm where customers are welcome to stop by for a bit of shopping, snacks and drinks!”

Enjoy xx

Black Gold

Kristin Weixelbaumer from Black Betty, launches a mysterious and enchanting new collection, Raven, under her new brand Black Gold.

Says Kirstin:

“I have had a lifelong fascination with the symbiosis between natural elements and the human experience. My journey, constantly driven by my passions for design, travel, and mysticism, reached a logical conclusion in northern India, encountering the centuries-old tradition of gem craftsmanship. At the intersection of cultural, spiritual and geological fascination, a calling rang out.”

We believe that Jewellery oughtn’t be mere decoration; a slave to style.  When a mutual respect exists between object and wearer, one honours the origin of the material, and its inherent providence. We believe that there is a sense of magic in wearing a polished and cherished fragment of the earth on your person. The reward for consciously adorning jewellery is a sense of femininity, intent, and connectedness.

The Raven Collection: RAVEN is the exposition of our shadow self; an emissary from the inky side of our consciousness. True knowledge of self can only begin once we embrace our darkest fears and desires, and the RAVEN collection manifests this awareness.”
