So I got my new camera just in time for our w.e. away in Franschhoek. I still have a lot to learn, but thought I got some nice shots for a first go. The macro feature is so much better than my Canon Powershot I had before. Lots of fun was had walking in the mountain and round the farm.
Bird Cottage is a great little getaway! You can get the best of both worlds. If you enjoy the hustle and bustle of street cafes, shops and an international mix of people, Franschhoek offers the best of it, and if you don’t feel like seeing or hearing – Bird cottage is nestled between mountain and vineyards with only natures callings. I feel well rested!
