Last Friday I got really spoiled and was invited to the Equinox Spa at The Cape Royale. I was immediately in awe of the plush opulence and glossy feel of the spa. A real treat! I had the Hot Candle 60 minute massage which was amazing. The wax of the candle becomes an oil as it melts and it’s lovely and warm on the touch of your skin. My therapist really got involved in the knots in my shoulders and made sure I was comfortable at all times. My skin felt really soft and nourished afterwards and I felt super relaxed, I didn’t want it to end! Hours later my skin still felt supple and moisturised from the oil.
Equinox offers five therapy suites, a relaxation area offering magazines, dried fruit and herbal teas as well as a separate manicure/pedicure lounge where clients can recline on beds while their feet are buffed and nails painted.
