Right, so what are you doing 1 October? I think you need to get your hair done and tickle the town pink! ghd are running a stylathon to raise money and awareness for breast cancer! Fabulous!
Says ghd: “ One in 29 women is diagnosed with breast cancer every year. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is dedicated to encouraging all women to invest in their health by learning how to detect breast cancer at an early stage. Since 2005, ghd has donated over R1.1 million to CANSA through sales of its annual limited edition Pink styler. The initiative see’s R100 from each styler sold being donated to this worthy cause. ghd has now conceptualised the ghd style-A-thon to raise additional funds for CANSA,”
The ghd style-A-thons will take place at shopping centres in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town on Saturday, 1 October 2011 during mall hours. A donation of R50 for adults (R20 for children under 12 years) will enable you to have your hair professionally styled.
