Winter body round up part 2

Try and exfoliate 1 to 3 times a week depending on how dry your skin is, to rid those scaly, dry, skin cells. Grey is my favourite colour, but not on my skin! Here are a few savvy scrubs I tried!

Priori Invigorating Face & Body Scrub is great for the shower as a 2-1. The granules are really fine but pack a punch! You can really feel them working.

The Phytomer Toning Body Scrub’s marine salt crystals are soft and dissolve quickly under water. This toning scrub rids dead skin cells and replaces mineral salts and trace elements vital for the skins well being and condition. This left my skin feeling hydrated and soft, leaving what felt like a barrier of moisture behind.

Baobody Exfoliating Body Scrub is made up of salt and crushed baobab seed and baobab oil containing omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids and Vitamin D – which our hair and skin LOVE. Geranium, rosemary, rose oil are a few of the many heavenly fragrant scents your’ll experience using this Eco product. It offers an invigorating scrub too.

The Dermalogica Exfoliating Body Scub is slightly foamy and is made up of olive, fig, and date seeds, and rice brand and papaya enzymes that soften the skin. I love the smell of this! No wonder, it’s also packed with refreshing lavender, orange, rosemary to up lift the senses and green tea to sooth the skin.

If you missed my review on the Ahava Body Wrap I had at The Cape Town Hollow Spa, check it out here. It’s the perfect winter treatment. I’m hooked. Get a full body salt scrub to rid dead skin cells, and get layered and wrapped up in Dead Sea mud packed with minerals. It’s as nourishing as it is relaxing, and at R299 for 75 Minutes – I think it’s value for money.
