WOOLWORTHS WEDNESDAYS

I was out and about at Woolworths and got totally caught up in denim skirts, printed summer scarves and a wide selection of summer hats, not to mention the sea of  summer sandals. However, I wasn’t there to browse, I had a task. To pick my perfect outfit at Woolworths.

It was really hard choosing just one favourite outfit, so I’m afraid I did cheat.

I chose two outfits, my perfect out fit for the beach or that perfect summers day, and then one I could wear to work or an evening launch.

I chose summers hottest trend , a short Re-denim Skirt, a girly coral tee with bow detailing from Twist, a straw trilby hat and pink and gold flip-flops. This outfit reminds me of a tropical holiday. It’s fun and fresh. Mmm, yes, I can totally see Jessica Alba in this. Stylist? Jessica?

I loved these accessories to match. Gold bangles from the Suga Suga Accessories Range.  I’d buy two sets and stack them to make a statement. An over sized gold beach bag, bikini and a pretty printed scarf.

Summer scarves are so versatile. Double up as a sarong, wear it as a belt in your denim loops, tie them round hats or simply round your neck to liven up an outfit.

Then, I have been searching for a little black blazer for ages. Ulrika! So excited!  This is my favourite of the two outfits.

W Collection black blazer (R399 which I thought was a great price for a blazer, and so it was purchased) striped tee from Twist and a  knee length Re-denim skirt. I’d team this outfit with a black drawstring bag and caged heels from The Fabulist and mix a few chunky bangles from the W Collection. Sophisticated, casual yet smart, young, on trend and oh so totally me. Love this look!

So what do you think? Drop me a comment. What’s been your favourite Woolworths purchase of late? What have you enjoyed about the WWW posts? What would you like to hear or learn about? I’m all ears! Happy Woolworths Wednesday. xx

Both outfits are lovely, but my favourite is the second – so chic. My most versatile and favourite Woolworths purchase(s) of late have without question been the waterfall cardi and empire dress (thanks for the inspiration!)

Love both of them – can you let us know what each outfit costs in total…that would be great to know for those of us who want to go out and buy each item we see and like!!
