BEAUTY FEATURE FRIDAY – BEAUTY BUZZ

I have lots of products and features lined up for you before year ends, so I thought I’d keep you in the loop on the latest news in the Beauty World.

Estee Lauder signs world-renowned makeup artist Tom Pecheux as Creative Makeup Director for the Estée Lauder brand. Tom has worked with some of the best fashion photographers such as Mario Testino and Patrick Demarchelier and created runway looks for Jean Paul Gautier, Ralph Lauren and YSL. Here’s some of his work below.

The Body Shop launches Limited Edition Soft Hands Kind Heart Hand Cream to raise funds and awareness for sex trafficking. Up to 1500 children under the age of 18 go missing every year according to the South African Police Bureau For Missing Persons. All proceeds of these sales will towards the prevention of Sex Trafficking in S.A and around the world. I’m definitely going to get one. Stocking filler idea girls!

Just in time for summer, Woolworths has given the beauty department at their Sandton store a makeover. As Woolworths’ new flagship beauty store, it’s bigger and better than ever.
More space and the latest in world-class store design make it a pleasure to shop.  It’s never been easier to find the best in beauty and fragrance from top local and international names – brands like Clarins, La Prairie, Lancôme, Benefit, Beauté Pacifique, Elemis, Phillip Kingsley, Sisley, Seri, Fekkai, Decléor, Smashbox, Make Believe, Ren, Bloom, Moya, QVS, Roger & Gallet, Elizabeth Arden, and more – plus some exciting new brands which will be launched soon.
Not forgetting, of course, that Woolworths also offers its own full range of own-brand cosmetics, skin care and fragrance, all benchmarked against the best in the world and endorsed by Beauty Without Cruelty.
With the holidays around the corner, be sure to visit the ‘SCENTSATIONAL’ bigger, better beauty department at Woolworths Sandton soon.

    Hi Kim,

Love your site. I am desperately searching for a Roger & Gallet outlet or stockist online in SA. Dischem used to stock some products, but it is not available anywhere in Sa. You know of anyone or website?
