I’ve been patiently waiting for Ceramic Factory to open up a store in Cape Town just so I can get my hands on an Art Deco Clock and a Medium Skull.

I discovered the Ceramic Factory this past December, after having browsed through an old record store in Linden, Johannesburg. I was immediately swooned by the unusual and striking styles, and treated myself to my favourite item in the store – my lemon-coloured T-Rex pencil holder.

In February this year, my T-Rex pencil holder served as inspiration for the new colour of my study (no doubt, lemony yellow has been my favoured colour this year – it must have something to do with Cape Town being the current World Design Capital too). My Ceramic Factory T-Rex is proof that inspiration for new room colours comes in all forms.

If I won, I’d buy the art deco clock, the dinosaur cake plate (what can I say, I love dinosaurs!), or the ceramic factory studded jug.

Check out my post on Facebook to see the visual of my Ceramic Factory inspired study :)

Oh my goodness I have found ceramic heaven! I LOVE the lights (need a new one for my bedroom) and adore the dinosaur and bunny series. Have shared on Facebook and Twitter.
    Holding thumbs! x

I love the skull vase in this post (with the proteas) but I couldn’t find it on the website. I was walking in Kloof Street the other evening with friends when we excitedly spotted this store!

  20. Taryn

OH DEER, what a selection! I’d have to go with the medium BOKKIE. Oh, and the ROBOT in honey mustard to display on a wooden vintage crate unit on my son’s wall.

  21. Johan

Wow, love the ceramic factory. I would buy the studded jug – looks a bit like a hand grenade! Just shared this on facebook :)

  22. Julia

I’d get a selection of different vases, all in white, for a gorgeous mix-and-match display. The horse and oblong studded vases are top of my list…

  23. Angie

I’ve always wanted the Pluto Sweetie Bowl in white … my work desk at home is all white and it would fit in perfectly :-)

  24. Denise

I love the whoel studded range… I’d probably buy a few mugs or a jug. Retweeted @ddlovesthis
