So one thing I’ve been religious about during my pregnancy is Pilates. I just love it! It’s keeping the luscious new curves in tact! I’ve been doing a few one on one sessions with Justine Seymour at Somersault Studios and am even more addicted now 🙂 See my review & pics of the Studio Here.

In our sessions Justine’s broken away from the traditional Pilates style class, incorporating a little cardio on the bike to warm up, resistance bands as you can see me using :), using your own body weight,  and weights. (Well I’ve done weights in my other classes but this feels more like a training session in a way – yet with gentle Pilates breathing and movements.)

I’ve always though personal trainers were for the more spoilt folk he he, but it’s seriously awesome to have someone tailor-make a routine specifically for your needs, to watch you’re in the correct positions and I tell you what, you don’t slack off as if you were in the gym on your own, your mind wondering elsewhere. Really loving it, not to mention you can have a good chat and someone is holding you to your work out each wk, no excuses 🙂

Check out their group classes and one on one training offerings here! There’s something for everyone, whether you want to just tone or get fit. The setting is rather pretty too!

    Great post Kim. It's a wonderful studio – and Justine, Robyn and Vene are all special women who keep my body moving!
