I'd invite all my girl friends and tell them to dress in a pretty frock. We would sit next to a lake on the sun and share out stories, giggle and eat all a lovely picnic feast, reclining on the colourful blankets while the sun makes us slowly sleepy :)

I would do a Ladies' Braai. I'd make mini braai treats beforehand so that we would physically have to braai – mini boerie rolls, salads, steak strips, etc. Invite my girlfriends, add some champers and celebrate Braai Day with a feminine touch.

What I would do for a braai rite now:) There is nothing better than having all our family together for a braai:) Catch up's , glasses of wine and just having a good old time.. Its a great way to bring us all together, as we all have crazy busy lives.. so a braai on tuesday will just help all relax and have a good time… I will tweet my set up / braai like crazy, send pics and just show everyone how important it is to bring everyone together the good old South African way :) The best times we have had as a family has always been having a braai :) I would love to have this hamper for the braai days I have with the family & friends….

My ultimate braai day idea would be having a glamp (glamorous camp) experience with my family in the backyard with Typo mini lanterns draped around the yard and Typo decor.
So we would start off with all the yummy braai day essentials that includes my mothers delicious chilli beans *YUM*, sizzling steak and sausage, chicken, yummy green, potato and noodle salad with thirst killing mocktails ^_^
For entertainment, a big white sheet and a projector to make an awesome homemade drive-in theater and obviously a little fire not only to keep warm but to roast some marshmallows and make s'mores.

What an amazing evening of braaiing, family and love

Awesome competition! I know I’m not the most organised person in the world, but I’m not terrible. For Braai Day if I won this hamper, as far as cultural practices go, throwing foodstuffs onto a fire on a nice day is by far the most inoffensive and enjoyable of the lot. And the kicker? All South African cultures like to braai. Shisa Nyama, barbeque, braai – call it what you will, it’s something most of us have in common. I’ve heard that even English people braai these days, albeit with briquettes or, yes folks, gas. So I’m going to get myself invited to one of these gatherings, and bring along this awesome hamper from Typo on Tuesday with my friends, and enjoy being part of such a diverse society that blesses us with so much beauty (and public holidays).

Go on a special picnic with my darling husband who always does romantic things for me…yet I have not one romantic bone in my body.

  28. Carla Meyer

Personally I would dress my pugs up in little matching outfits spread the dream blanket have my partner braai some juicy wors and have a family day eating boerewors rolls. Just the 4 of us… me, my partner, Oscar the pugster and Stella Bella pug. We can play bats & balls and sip on Pimms and Mojito's. Full up those jugs!

  29. Depashni Charlotte Marie

I would have a huge braai after fasting for 1 month ,I'd invite all my family and close friends to celebrate at my favourite braai spot at Japanese Gardens
