Woodbender was thrilled to have the opportunity to supply furniture for the meeting room at the head offices of World Design Capital Cape Town 2014.
Woodbender is a Cape based bentwood furniture manufacturer that has been designing unique solid bentwood products for 25 years. While the rest of their products are not quite my thing, I think this yellow is rather dashing!
Karoo is a new release which was originally developed in Walnut and brown leather strapping. WDCCT 2014 came with a twist when they requested a yellow frame with grey webbing. This quirky interpretation of the Karoo is a prime example of what a little bit of imagination can do to a classic.
