Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate: Day 1

So as you know yesterday my bottle of gold arrived! Last night I began the 28 day Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate – “Change Your Skin” Challenge.

And so it begins. So here I’ve just washed my face. Mmm hoping KMRC is going to help those, what I like to call, laugh lines. My skins’s quite read. Not sure if it’s from being cosy by the fire or a bit irritated. Pregnancy can also get those blood vessels quite active.

Next, dispense 2-3 drops of Midnight Recovery Concentrate into the palm of your hands, pat your hands together a few times to spread the product evenly over your hands. Do inhale the beautiful essential oils, a lovely, relaxing ritual to do before bed. Gently press the MRC into the skin starting with the chin, cheeks and forehead to evenly apply it. Gently pat into skin.

Skin after applying Midnight Recovery Concentrate.

This is taken this morning, still half asleep before doing anything to my skin. My bathroom lighting, a-la iPhone pics aren’t great but I could def see a bit of a glow this morning. You can see above my brow bone and forehead slightly. And no redness. My skin feels comfortable and supple. Not a bad start for day 1. Obviously no earth shattering,  I-look-like-Heidi-Klum-this-morning moments, but I think I’m onto a good thing here. Will report back in a few days.
