And we’re off . . . what I packed

Here are some of my holiday essentials that will be coming with me to Morocco & Paris.

I’m very excited about my new coat from Desray. What feels like a tracksuit material – still looks super chic but is so comfy to travel in. It’s going to be perfect for the cold weather in Paris with my waterproof Hunter Millbank Sneakers. I’ve also packed my Desray Straw Hat and Leopard Print Scarf that will come handy when trekking on a camel! Eeek! My rubber O’ Clock watch is the perfect, durable travel watch as are my space-saving, fold up Ray-bans from Sunglass Hut. I’ll be doing a lot of walking and probably in be in sneakers most of the time, but evenings exploring fabulous restaurants and bars call for some pretty pumps from Cinnamon Shoes.

Two life savers when travelling are QMS Medicosmetics and La Mer. Flying can really dry out ones skin and so using your QMS Exfoliant Fluid will help rid dead/dry skin cells to reveal a fresher skin. Says QMS “ High quality fruit acids dissolve the intercellular glue between the dead skin cells and reveal a smoother and more youthful looking skin.” Your day and night collagen will pump up your moisture levels again, restoring your skin.

Obsessed with La Mer, The Mist – a miracle in a bottle to revive and refresh your skin! Says La Mer, “The highly charged waters in La Mer’s refreshing The Mist heal, hydrate and rebalance even the driest complexions. It creates a special negative ion-rich environment that instantly shifts skin’s energy level, visibly uplifting and reviving lethargic skin. A live internal magnet continually recharges the ingredients to maintain their optimum potency. Marine and botanical extracts soothe surface irritations and gently relax dry lines to restore skin’s appearance. Indispensable after exposure to sun, wind or other dehydrating conditions” It really is a travel must. I also love to sprits it over make-up before going out for a fresh, dewy finish.

In order not to get too hasstled in Morocco, one should really respect their culture. So, I’ve made sure to pack items that cover shoulders and knees. I’m loving these long and short sleeve tees from Old Khaki as they are SUPER light and soft and will be fab with my Desray Silk Harem Pants. Maxi- dresses like this one I got from Poetry are also useful with a light cardi or scarf over your shoulders.

Most importantly, everything is going into our brand new Samsonite Aeris Comfort Spinners made from recyclable, nature friendly and shock resistant polypropylene. We sure won’t miss our bags on the carousel :) See more luggage at Ibags.co.za.

Very cool…,re: the Hunter Millbank's. Going to Italy over Christmas and Paris over New Years and as you know it will be very wet. Been struggling with footwear. So, nice tip! And love the fold-up sunglasses…think I'll go the same same route. Hope you're enjoying the trip and having a rad time!
