Kiehl’s Change Your Skin Challenge: Before

So I’m excited to get my hands on a bottle of the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. I’m putting it to the test over the next 28 days to hopefully see a change in my skin! Currently I am quite happy with my skin. Bar a recent break out that I’m putting down to testing too many different products in a short space of time, the anticipation of showing my skin to you guys or a good old pregnancy hormone surge, who knows, but I’m happy with the texture of my skin in general and it’s been playing nicely recently, so I’m interested to see what the added step of Kiehl’s Recovery Concentrate applied in the evenings will do!

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate was specifically formulated to biologically replicate skin’s natural lipids for optimal skin repair during the night, as during the night, the skin’s repair system works at its best .

I’m pretty good about a night routine. I cleanse with QMS Medicosmetics and exfoliate with their exfoliant fluid when I have time and / or remember. I apply eye cream / usually a  serum  of sorts and do a mask when I have time – all depending on what I’m testing out for the blog. I do find my skin is best when I am consistent and don’t try out too many different things in a short space of time. So lets see what Kiehl’s brings to the party.

I read a fantastic analogy last night. We can often compare ourselves to a rose bud. We want to blossom and we want to blossom now, ripping at the petals to try and get the rose open, hence destroying the rose, its journey and its beauty. The best results need time! So again I agree with consistency in trying out a new product, not expecting miracles over night (though we may be surprised) and gaining a serene beauty via the journey. That’s a life lesson right there, but you want to know more about Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate – get on with it Kim!
