Ah, I’ve found a fabulous little gem in the leafy suburbs of Claremont/Newlands, Soma Studio.

So lying on this beautiful gold thread throw, I was treated to a facial with a difference. The Skin Brilliance Facial (90 min, R360) starts off with a beautiful Mini Aromatherapy back massage! YAY! And it wasn’t even that “mini”, it was a heavenly, longer-than-I-expected, massage. Such a great way to start a facial! While using RegimA products, a thorough round of extractions, eyebrow shaping and gorgeous smelling masks is performed while you then enjoy a beautiful head massage and hand massage. A real pamper, and my skin felt great afterwards!

I also love the sound of the Jet Lag Revival Package, perfect for avid travellers, consisting of a full body polish, 30 min back massage, 20 min foot and ankle massage and a skin refresh facial (R580) Not a bad deal right? You can view more of Soma Studio’s Packages and therapies here.

You love this little spot if you like a more private and quiet setting and are not into the fuss or a big salon. Sarah also owns http://www.thespashop.co.za where you can stock up on beauty faves and chat to her about products that she could recommend for you skin from her shop. I’m loving the award winning 100% organic Balm Balm Rose & Geranium Lip Balm! It leaves lips soft and supple and can be used on any dry areas, like elbows or perfect for keeping brows in place! It really is a little gem!

Also take advantage of Soma’s Feburary Summer Specials:
Add a Gel Fx to a spa manicure for R50, OR have a shape and Gel Fx application for only R130

St Tropez full body self tan application R130 (without scrub)
