Peacock pavilions, marrakesh

So I’ve blogged about Peacock Pavilions before (here), but this time I can share my very own experience. It was such a lovely ending to our trip to just relax on the property (we didn’t move) in the quiet surroundings of the olive groves. Again, decorated by Maryam Montague of My Marrakesh, it’s a décor lovers paradise and has been used for the likes of J Crew and more as a shoot location.

It was really cool to meet Myram and I even got to buy a signed copy of her book! (Which is really amazing and has loads of fabulous shopping tips)

Our room. The Sufi Seamstress.  So divine falling asleep with a fire going.

The food was really delicious with all the vegetables and herbs coming from their veggie garden. Too pretty!

xx

I can see why you feel in love with this place. I think that pink room rocks. The bold use of pattern, colour and textures makes this villa so unique. It is this kind of hospitality venue that succeeds in making the guest feel completely at home. Nothing contrived, nothing standard and everything with that local culture infused into its very fiber. I have never been particularly drawn to Morocco – but your images are beginning to have that attracting effect on me. For me authenticity is key.
