I love visiting the Cellars-Hohenort Hotel, even if it’s just for a cup of tea to admire the beautiful gardens on a sunny day. Last Friday I was lucky eough to be able to experience their gorgeous spa, relax and unwind. I got there a bit early and so treated myself to breakfast and sat in the sunshine, such a treat!
The spa is beautifully appointed and it feels like you’re in for a treat upon walking in. I experienced the 75 Minute African Awakening Massage that was heavenly not only due to my therapist tucking into those knots, but the uplifting fragrance of citrus in the massage oils was totally reviving! The massage started by lying on ones tummy. My therapist held her hands below my face, for me to take in 3 deep breaths and to inhale a beautiful, botanical smelling sensation. The fragrance and deep breathing aid in relaxing one immediately. A highlight while enjoying this full body massage was definitely the head massage.Glorious! At the end, another minty fragrance was to be inhaled, re-awakening the senses, totally refreshing! This massage comes highly recommended! I had a beautiful pedi done too to top it off! Happiness!
