Are you planning your special day. A birthday, wedding, engagement party or special event? I’ve got the ultimate experience lined up for you.

Join me, Rosenwerth, Clarins, Uitsig Spa, Sunglass Hut, Free Range Jewels, Melissa Shoes, Elle Macpherson Intimates, Lindt and Simonsig, in the competition of a lifetime.

All of the above I have tried and tested in some way and am thrilled to be giving one lucky lady (or guy – proposal gift?) this incredible prize.

I remember wearing my first Rosenwerth dress, it was my first red dress too. It was also my first time to the Midlands and the first time away with my now husband, then boyfriend, to his brothers wedding. It was a special experience all round.

Rosenwerth is known for the most gorgeous couture frocks and bridal gowns and has dressed many a celebrity after winning numerous accolades, including the J & B Rare Designer and Fair Lady Catherine Awards to mention but a few. It’s easy to see why, these dresses are nothing less than Cinderella worthy. A dream dress for the perfect dream day.

Before putting on your designer couture gown, you’d want to relax in a fluffy white one at Uitsig Spa and be pampered by Clarins. Calm the nerves and unwind in the beautiful spa courtyard to sounds of a trickling fountain and beautiful mountain views. Indulge in the luxurious combination of Clarins and Uitsig Spa as you are pampered one step closer to a more radiant and glowing you, for your special day.

I’ve had the privilege of enjoying both Clarins and the Uitsig Spa. Bliss! The body scrub and oil massage is heavenly and the Clarins Eau de Jardin is definitely my fragrance of the year for everyday wear.

Adorn yourself in hand crafted, local jewels by Free Range Jewels. Every girl needs a ring on her special day, or 3. Be prepared to get your hands grabbed. I am continuously having people grab my hand to admire my knot ring. I love how these rings can be worn on their own or stacked for maximum impact.

A day filled with love and celebration is not complete without a heart pendant and chain from Free Range Jewels. I’ve ordered mine. Can’t wait to wear it!

Feel like you’ve just stepped out of ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’ in Tiffany & Co shades from Sunglass Hut, the only Sunglasses destination.

Tiffany & Co. adds elegant new options to Tiffany Eyewear, the must-have fashion accessory.

The collection’s latest versions for sunwear interpret such iconic designs as Tiffany Signature™, Tiffany Charms, and Return to Tiffany™ in chic, sophisticated frames. Return to Tiffany™ Heart Tag. An aviator-style metal frame is accented with a metal Tiffany Heart Tag engraved with return to Tiffany™. Frames are available in silver, gold, black and brown, with acetate temple tips in contrasting colours. Lens colours include smoky brown, grey and plum.

Cool prizes so far hey? It’s kind of a Cinderella Story, and yes, the shoe will fit. A pretty Melissa Shoe that is, designed by make-up artist J Maskrey. I blogged about Melissa Shoes last week here. I am coveting a leopard print pair myself.  The perfect shoe for the chicest of dresses.

This is a style that is always HUGELY in demand amongst brides, with many local fashion designers (such as Kluk) sending brides to us to get this shoe. We’ve even had to go as far as courier a single pair from Brazil for a bride once! It looks exquisite on the foot, almost as though the Swarovski crystals are stuck to the skin (as with body jewellery says Renee, S.A. Melissa Representative.

You want to feel just as special under your Rosenwerth Gown as you do in it. Elle Macpherson Intimates gives the perfect balance of comfort and sensuality. I’m loving my Elle Macpherson Intimates.  I also blogged the hot new lingerie arrival here and here.
What is a celebration without chocolate and bubbly. Mmm my favourites.
Get pampered and dressed to kill while indulging in Lindt Chocolate and sipping on Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose.
You’ll always find some dark Lindt chocolate in my fridge or handbag. The ultimate indulgence.

I had the Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose at my wedding. The pink sparkles made the most beautiful of celebratory drinks and not to mention the most delicious! How divine, sipping bubbly in your Tiffany & Co Sunglasses from Sunglass Hut at sunset. Can’t beat that!

Wow, what a day . . . so I guess you want to know the exact details…

For my mom’s wedding 4 yrs ago we spent hours in the Rosenworth shop selecting her dress. I would love the opportunity to do the same.

I would probably ask to have my dress made becuase I know what I want and it’s pretty simple. The dress can be worked off this stunning red one: http://www.rosenwerth.co.za/images/couture/couture26b.jpg

And if I can dream … this is what the bridesmaid dress would be like: http://www.rosenwerth.co.za/images/pret/pret_20b.jpg and/or http://www.rosenwerth.co.za/images/pret/pret_25b.jpg

As for the rings – I’d wear one and each of my bridesmaids can wear one (there are 2 bridesmaids so that makes 3 of us).

….the champagne would be saved for the lindt balls to be enjoyed the next day chilling somewhere.

……and the sunglasses would not leave my face on our planned ‘honeymoon’ trip down the orange river with friends (so it’s not really a traditional honeymoon but promises to be great fun!).

And….the shoes. Oh please – let me win 🙂

I love The Rosenwerth Wedding dress 005 or haute-couture dress 026 and 001 – They are all beautiful.
The special day I would wear them on is my up-coming birthday.
If I won, I would wake up on my special day wearing my gorgeous free-range jewels and Intimates lingerie, and then slip my pretty little feet into my sexy melissa’s shoes, walk out onto the balcony and enjoy a glass of Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose whilst admiring the sunrise.
As the sun rises my delicately manicured hands would place my stylish Tiffany and Co sunglasses on to protect my eyes from glaring rays before donning my robe and making my way to the Uitsig Spa for my make-over.
Once made more beautiful by the Uitsig spa I would slip into my beautiful Rosenwerth gown and have a picnic where all of my friends would enjoy Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose and Lindt chocolate with me.
Finally I would take the photographs (I get a photographer of sorts to document my birthday every year) and make a beautiful album to remember my beautiful day and share with the readers of my blog, showing them how special these lovely brands and Kim Gray made me feel and look on my special day.

Perusing Rosenworth’s website I would definitely pick Pret A Porter dress number 25, a sweet black cocktail dress perfect for celebrating a wonderful first year with my husband.

After spending every cent on our first home we weren’t able to celebrate our first anniversary in quite the grandeur we would have liked so I would use each of these prizes to help us send off our first year as man and wife in style.

With the Simonsig Rose, Elle Macpherson lingerie and the Lindt hamper we’ll relive our wedding night and I’d wear the gilded knot ring as a reminder of the ties that bind us through the good times and the bad.

And to thank our friends for their support throughout the year we’d share the other 11 bottles of bubbly at new year where I’ll hopefully be sporting a pair of sparkly Melissa flats 🙂

OMW. Scream. Pinch myself. I have yet to start planning my wedding and this fabulous competition pops up!

Instantly fell in love with dress 009 in the Weddings Collection. It is so different yet stylish and very pretty. (Though I don’t know if my mother would like seeing me walk down the aisle in purple and grey.)

I would go mad with these prizes preceding my wedding, on the day and afterwards. The Clarins facial and make-over will be booked at least two weeks before the wedding. Just in case some nasty pimple decides to stick its head out. A week before the wedding I will invite my best girlfriends for a weekend on the farm. We will finish off the 12 bottles of Simonsig and all the Lindt Chocolates! On the big day I will dress in Rosenworth number 009 and slip the beautiful J. Maskey Melissa Shoes on my feet. The Tiffany & Co Sunnies will be on to to protect my eyes from the sun as we ride to the church in a horse carriage. If I could, I’d walk down the aisle with them!! The ring boy will already have the silver knot ring with him and the will glide it on my finger when the pastor says give each other the right hand. The other gorgeous ring will be packed already for that magical Mauritius trip. And don’t forget the Elle MacPherson bottom. Lastly I will ask the farmer to slip on the heart pendant before he… the rest is for the farmers to find out!

    Holding thumbs!

I’ve decided that I want a wine lands wedding and that is a non-negotiable! To make this easier, as I live in Jozi, I have appointed my fiance’s sister as a bridesmaid as she lives and works on a stunning wine farm. This will mean valuable trips to Cape Town to plan and co-ordinate – time to plan and time to bond.
I would drag her along to the dressing fitting with Rosenworth (and so far, I do love Weddings 001 as a wedding dress, but there are so many other beautiful dresses!). I mean, you need an honest friend to tell you what’s great and what’s fabulous! And she has style oozing from her. Of course, she would be there with me to pick out the pair of styling J Maskrey Melissa Shoes! This is the ideal day for a bride and her bridesmaid (soon to be sister-in-law), making important decisions and shopping at the same time! Next we would get back in the car and head over to Uitsig spa for the make-over and discuss my beauty regime to prepare me for the big day. Knowing us, we would have a little treatment as it’s been a tough day so far! We would end the day, watching the sun go down over the vineyards, sipping a few glasses of Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel dreaming of my big day……
My Elle Macpherson intimates would be saved for the special day – something new (and something of a treat for my new hubby). The pretty rings have to be shared and would make ideal gifts for my three ladies and the pendant would be a gift for mom to wear on the big day. But I would probably want a second pendant for myself!
I want an intimate breakfast the morning after the wedding, just us and our families and what would be better than a champagne breakfast? Ideal for the other 10 bottles of Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel and Brut Rose – doesn’t that just capture the autumn tone of our wedding? Finally, a Lindt treat for our guests; a sweet ending to a special day.
I would save the sunglasses for my honeymoon – we’re off to sunny beach destination for sure!

I’ll tweet as @Claudz and blog about it too (fingers crossed)

Oh dear, I don’t have a special day planned – can I still enter? I would stretch a prize like this out for weeks, even months, of special days. The Rosenworth dress 014 in the Pret a Porter collection could take me through all those days, summer or winter; I’d never wonder what to wear again. The make-up and pampering would set me straight for a good few months; it would be an education! The jewellery and the sunglasses – those would become part of my everyday uniform (but the lingerie I’d save for very special days). The shoes I would share with my mother; we have exactly the same size feet, and she loves shoes more than anyone should. The bubbly I’d share with my sister, a bottle once a week, when we’ve both had enough of families and dishes and laundry. And the chocolate – I’d invite all my friends round, open the hamper, and tell them to dive in!

I absolutely LOVE the Pret-a-Porter 021. A maxi dress in a bright print is definitely one of my summer must-haves, and who says you can’t indulge in haute couture from a fabulous designer for everyday wear? I love the way it shows the ankles, the perfect length for showing off those Melissa shoes!

I recently moved from Cape Town to the big bad Gauteng. I miss Cape Town all the time! But luckily I visit really often. So I would make a special plan to visit, and make that visit an extra special one! Firstly, I would definitely wear all of the jewelry at once. I think it would look perfect with my bold maxi dress. Let’s not forget those gorgeous knickers- great underwear makes me feel sexy and confident, meaning I wear any outfit that much better. And of course the sunglasses and shoes, together with an intoxicating waft of Eau de Jardin, would make for the perfect arrival as I hop off the plane, jump in my car and drive to this fabulous spa for a much-needed day of relaxation after the fast-paced living of Jo’burg. I would definitely stash some Lindt in my handbag, as I always do, and nibble on them as I go along. But I would also hand them out to strangers, for example the Big Issue vendors. That’s just something I have always done. I would get all of my favourite Cape Town friends [who I miss every day] together somewhere with a great view, [and I wouldn’t have to change because this maxi dress is the perfect day-to-night garment] and we would all share the wine and remember good times of our student days, before we all graduate and move on up into the ‘real world’.

I am getting married in April next year to the love of my life on a farm in Tulbagh.

I would love to slip into the Rosenworth Haute Couture 008 dress later in the evening to dance the night away. I have always loved the idea of having a fun, short dress to dominate the dance floor in. The Free Range heart pendant will look perfect with this dress and the surrounds (considering hearts are a dominant theme in our decor). The sparkly Melissa shoes would be a feature from the ceremony through the night. Being tall, glamorous flats are a dream come true!

The Tiffany & Co sunglasses will be worn all weeekend as outdoor festivities run from Friday to Sunday. The Free Range rings will be a staple too, with the knot being a strong symbol of what the weekend is all about.

I love sharing bubbly with the special ladies in my life. The Simonsig will go down a treat at our picnic lunch the day before the wedding but we will also be sure to save a few bottles for the getting ready process.

The Lindt balls will be perfect for our sweet treat table. Stacked in old school candy jars for all guests to help themselves.

I get so incredibly excited thinking about the big day but no doubt some of this excitment will turn to stress closer to the time. A pampering session at Uitsig Spa with Clarins products will certainly ease any tension and have me ready for the awesome celeration!!

I absolutely love haute couture 017!!!!!

My perfect day would be to wake up with my hubby then treat him with a home made Simonsig bubbly brêkkie … before heading off to the Uitsig Spa for serious pampering. Obviously wearing my seriously stylish sunglasses on the way there (i wouldn’t want to have bags under my eyes from squinting) I’d probably snack on my Lindt balls on the way there…can’t leave those little balls of heaven for later 🙂

After our perfect pampering i’d get freshened up and slip into my hot new Elle Macpherson undies and gorgeous Rosenwerth gown and leave without telling him but leaving a little note with the silver heart pendant and chain from Free Range Jewels. telling him to meet me at our favorite spot on the beach (i’ll have more bubbly handy) And we’ll toast to the best day ever, and stroll down the beach, feet in the wet sand with my sparkly shoes in hand 🙂

On the 9th of December I jet off to the UK with a big beauty house to attend the international launch of one of their new products. It will be a very dressy affair and I have yet to find an outfit fit for the occasion on my small budget… A Rosenwerth dress to wear would be an absolute treat, my top three from the Couture range are 017, 001 and 021 and my favourite of the wedding dresses is 002. I feel I could represent South Africa beautifully in one of these gowns! And I believe I’ll feel my sexy and confident best knowing that I have luxurious Elle Macpherson intimates underneath. A Clarins makeover before my trip would ensure I am looking my rested best to represent the international magazine I work for and the products I receive after will be safely tucked into my suitcase for the trip. Depending on the dress I settle on (which one, which one?!) I will either wear one or all three of the beautiful rings from Free Range Jewels, but would without a doubt wear the heart pendant and chain. My signature necklace is a silver chain with a heart pendant, so it’d be perfect for me. The trip will coincide with a visit to my older sister – who I have not seen in four years – so the Lindt chocolates and at least three bottles of the Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose will travel with me to celebrate this momentous occasion – it will also be the first time I meet my niece, Ella. The remaining bottles will chill at home and be consumed on Christmas day when I host the family at my place for a big lunch and celebration. With any luck, but highly unlikely, at least one bottle will remain to ring in the New Year with. The designer J. Maskrey Melissa Shoes, Free Range Jewels and Tiffany & Co. sunglasses will be my accessories of choice as I navigate the shops of London, picking out gifts and one-of-a-kind items for friends and family for Christmas. I will be documenting my trip on Twitter and Facebook as I go… This would be the ultimate prize for me and the best way to end off a tough, but very blessed year. x

Im turning 21 years old in January. I have no dress and no shoes! And its around the corner! This competition will be totally awesome to win.

The dress i adore is Wedding 001, im such a girl, or the Haute Couture 002. The day of my “big day” I will pamper myself at Uitsig Spa together with Clarins who will help me unwind (i stress way too quickly!). The bubbly, courtesy of Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose, I would keep for the toast. Whereas the Lindt, well I would say I could eat them all, but I think what I will do is put them on the table for each guest as a small gift of appreciation for sharing the evening with me.

But before that: I would, after returning from Uitsig Spa, slip into my Elle Macpherson Initmates bottom, feeling oh so sexy and Rosenwerth wedding gown 001. Then I will put my elegant pair of J. Maskrey Melissa shoes on my beautifully massaged feet (if Clarins allows that). To top the sophistication of the look off, I’ll wear only one ring- over-doing it never looked good- and my pendant thanks to Free Range Jewels. So you might ask where does the sunglasses fit in: Well, that I would wear as I get out of the car while entering the hall at which my birthday will be held. January is a hot month, and one cannot afford to to have the glare of the sun in one’s eyes.

The dress I absolutely love is Wedding 006, its just gorgeous and would suit me as it is simple yet elegant and stunning! The Free Range Jewels I would keep minimal as I still believe less is more. The Melissa shoe would complete my cinderella wedding 🙂

I would keep the Lindt hamper, Simonsig and Elle MacPherson lingerie for the honeymoon night ofcourse 🙂

I have never won anything so this would absolutely make me the happiest woman on earth!

There is only one event in Cape Town that would do this prize justice and that has to be the L’Ormarins Queens Plate- the official opening event for the horse racing season.
In addition, since the dress code is strictly blue and white I would make my entrance in the haute couture 006 dress in radiant orange to ensure that all eyes are on this gorgeous Rosenworth creation.

Since a fashionista never makes her entrance without an entourage, I would ensure that my girlfriends and I would each be wearing one of the Free Range Jewels rings and of course have a few glasses of bubbly before the event whilst at the Uitsig spa.

With the plethora of paparazzi at the event, one has to protect one’s eyes, so don’t miss the society pages of me sporting the Tiffany & Co shades or the pic of me dancing the night away in my J. Maskrey Melissa Shoes.

And of course, the handbag will be secretly stuff with Lindt truffles for that added sugar rush to keep up the energy levels!

05 February 2011 creeps up on me like a silent shadow as the sun sets. As each days goes by i get more and more excited about OUR big day – the day i share my life with the love of my life infront of God all family and friends.

I have decided that i will be wearing the stack rings from Free Range Jewels – The Knott Ring in the middle and then the outer two rings in colours stones representing OUR birth stones, my brides maid’s gift will be their Heart pendants as she has always carried my hearts desires from school days, through college, work and all life’s trials and tribulations, good time and bad.

On the 20 Jabuary 2011 i will book myself into the Uitsig Spa and undergo treatments from Clarins – relaxing and soaking up the Cape’s sun while being very classy and chik in my Tiffany and Co sunglasses.

The BIG day has arrived 05 February 2011 and infront of me is Dress 03 – wow i loved it from the day i first saw it – Clarins Eau Des Jardins, frangrance hangs in the air as i rush out the room for a final one or two photo’s.

I have saved the best for last 06 February 2011 – comfy yet oh so cute Meliisa shoes on, Elle Macpherson Intimates fill the luggage bag (what more does a girl need on honeymoon besides a tooth brush), Tiffiany and Co sunglass completing the saxy picture and off down stairs to say goodbye to mom, dad, skoonma en skoonpa with a quick ching of the glasses filled with Simonsig champers and a decadant bite size Lindt choc for the road(yummy, been ages since i had choc – pre wedding diet has been salad, salad and more salad).

To Infinity and Beyond – Mr and Mrs Esterhuysen are gone!!!

This prize is like a slice of heaven, like the perfect dream, it reminds me of falling in love and of the blissful moments in life. All these prizes would add up to a magical dream wedding which we are planning for 2011.

To say thank you to my fabulous mom, we would got together to the Uitsig Spa for a day of pampering and the Clarins facial. I would wear the Haute Couture 005 dress, it is just exquisite, my dream dress. I love the colour, the flowy free fabric, I love the one shoulder, it is sexy and feminine and would just feel like a princess when walking down the aisle in it to meet my prince. Underneath, I will be wearing the Elle Macpherson Intimates of course. I just love love love the J. Maskrey Melissa Shoes and would be the comfy addition to my outfit for an evening full of dancing under the stars. I would have the Knot ring as my wedding ring and wear the other rings on honeymoon to add colour and fun. I would give my bridesmaid the heart pendant to say thank you for being the best girl firend ever. I can’t live without sunglasses in this glorious sunny South Africa, so I would wear them before the wedding, at the wedding most likely and on honeymoon too. The Lindt chocolates and Brut Rose would be shared with my bridesmaids whilst getting ready together and for a midnight snack and celebration with my new husband after the wedding.

Win Your Special Day, the ultimate dream competition or fate? I am undecided…

I have recently become engaged to the most amazing fiancé a girl could ask for and if I won this competition I would use it towards my big day, a day to be remembered forever!

I LOVE Rosenwerth wedding dress 003. It is absolutely perfect for my colour scheme of black & white. I have already decided that my bridesmaids are going to be dressed in black dresses with white sashes, so to have a dress that has a hint of black in it would be a great balance, and look so stunning.

I plan to have my wedding at Constantia Uitsig – the irony! A friend of mine has a beautiful black horse stabled there which I want to incorporate into my colour scheme 🙂 Seeing wedding dress 003 next to that beautiful dark horse made me realise just how perfect it would be. And being an equine rider myself, I plan to ride in on this handsome creature and make a GRAND entrance!

The day before my wedding, when I no doubt will be completely stressed, I would make my way to the Uitsig Spa for my Clarins pampering session. I would book my bridesmaids in (and my mother) so that they can also relax before taking on the task of ensuring I remain calm on my wedding day 🙂

My Topaz and Amethyst ring will go to my two special bridesmaids and the knotted ring will remain on my finger as it is too beautiful and symbolic to not be worn on my wedding day by me, the bride. The heart pendant will also be worn by me and will complete my dress by adding that “little” bit extra.

I am not a very tall person, and my future husband is not much taller than me, so heels are out of the question! I cannot wait to slip my feet into a pair of designer Melissa shoes that are flats! The ultimate comfort so that I can dance the night away and look like Cinderella while doing it.

I am planning an evening wedding starting late afternoon so that I can still catch the sunset, so my Tiffany & Co. sunglasses (with a black rim to match my gorgeous dress), will look glamorous on my face. I am a typical girl, emotional to the bone and they will not only shade my eyes, but hide my tears as I experience the best day of my life.

The Lindt chocolate will be enjoyed by me and my girlfriends on the run up to the big day and will continue to be consumed after the wedding when I don’t have to worry about fitting into my glamorous wedding dress anymore! A considerable amount of this gorgeous chocolate will be donated to my sister, who is a chocoholic by nature, and a Lindt-chocoholic by heart!

The Simonsig Brut Rose will be used during the reception where all my guests can enjoy it and toast to our happiness.

And last but not least, my beautiful, elegant Elle Macpherson Intimates will be worn on the day and discovered by my new husband on our wedding night 🙂

I am getting married on 4 December 2010, however the wedding will unfortunately have to be simple, family only .I cannot think of a bigger blessing than winning this competition and being pampered, if only this once. I love the Rosenworth 001, wow, it is so elegant. I would most certainly enjoy spending the day before the wedding at the Uitsig Spa and it would be great if the package included hubby to be too. The Clarins treatment would certainly make one feel like a princess. The Sunglasses will be worn after the ceremony somewhere on a lawn sipping/sharing bubbly and Lindt (our favourite) with the family (only half though, the other half will certainly be spared for the honeymoon). The Melissa shoes (or should I say gorgeous slippers), Elle Macphereson Intimates, Free Range Jewels etc will be utilised during the honeymoon – one has to feel special during this time too afterall. The most important is that “hubby” will not be informed of this entry, just imagine his surprise if we were to win. Oh, and those gorgeous rings, they will definately be worn one at a time in order to show each one off individually … Thank you for this opportunity and to all the sponsors.

Hmm, I don’t have a special day in mind, but I think that’s the great thing about all the prizes – they can be adapted to be worn and enjoyed everyday, whether for a ‘special day’ or just to feel special on an ordinary day! I totally adore the Haute Couture 003, so bright and beautiful coming in to summer, and suitable for so many occasions. I’d pair it with the silver knot ring and stunning heart pendantand, and save the other two rings for different occasions. The amazing spa treatment and products will go a long way to ensure that I do the dress justice. The bubbly and Lindt chocolate will be gorgeous to indulge in and share with friends all summer (maybe help them get over their jealousy of my stunning new Tiffany & Co shades and Melissa shoes). And who I share the Elle Macpherson intimates with… well let’s just leave it there!

Oh my goodness, this is like the best giveaway I’ve ever seen. A dream come true for any girl!!

I’m absolutely in LOVE with Wedding Dress 001. I can wear it anywhere!

I would plan a cocktail party on the beach with a magnificent view and have everyone dress up. I’d wear my Tiffany sunnies while welcoming all my guests with bubbly, chocolates, white chocolate fountains, strawberries and loads of other deliciousness.
I would have tables set up on the beach with a whole vintage vibe, surrounded by lanterns and fairy lights, while we watch the sun set.

The morning I’d go for all the spa treatments, then put on that fabulous pink gown and heart pendants. I’d give each best friend a ring, and I’ll even use heart shapes as inspiration in my decor on the tables. Horse rides, violins or a piano in the background while we dance bare feet in the sand – I can already see it! I would use the prize in one day and host a great a Christmas party for all my friends. I’m sure, with all these amazing prizes, I’ll blow them away! The only thing I won’t share, is the Elle Macpherson Intimates… well, maybe only for a special someone. Guess I’ll need to save some champagne and chocolates for the ‘after party’. Aah a girl can dream!

Off to tweet and blog – will come back to leave the links!
    Great job Kim!

What an amazing prize!!! I am based in Johannesburg, but would walk to Cape Town if I have to or donate the spa portion of the prize to someone deserving!
I would without a doubt use the contents of this prize to make the wedding we are saving for a reality.
So I'll start off with the dress *swooooon* Wedding 001 would be a dream come true, and would match the Simonsig bubbly we would use for our toast perfectly.
I would wear the Sterling Silver Blue Topaz Ring as my something blue 🙂 And sport my Tiffany & Co sunnies on my drive to our reception and forever after of course!
I would of course be donning my Melissa Shoes all day, and possibly sleep in them too :p
And after the perfect day, with just the two of us alone I would be wearing my Flesh coloured Elle Macpherson Intimates bottom paired with my Sterling Silver Amethyst Ring sterling silver heart pendant and chain.

This prize would be a blessing in disguise as my fiancée and I are doing the wedding by ourselves. Dress no. 003 would be my choice. Not only does it have a classic feel to it, it also has a spring sense to it. I would use the treatments before the wedding to release any stress that I might have so that I am at my best for my husband to be. I would wear the jewelery as a combination on the day as I feel it will compliment the dress that I have chosen. The sunglasses I will use on the honeymoon to relax on the beach in style. As well as the shoes. Not only are they perfect during the day but can also complement any outfit in the evening. The underwear I would wear on the wedding day, under my dress of course. 🙂 The chocolates and the wine I will split between my bridesmaids and the evening of my wedding. I would not want to over do it on the day and I think it is a lovely way of bonding with all parties before and after the wedding. It will be an absolute honor to win this prize and hope that I am chosen.

After a really tough year for myself and my family, I would love to celebrate my last year in my forties with a birthday bash (right at the end of December)!! Can’t get onto the Rosenworth website right now, but fancy an elegant number in midnight blue – need high heels to catch up to my tall son and husband. Yes please, this prize is for me…

I was dumped the night before my birthday this year – and even though I tried my hardest it still spoilt the day for me.
I drive past the Rosenworth shop every morning on my way to work and admire all the pretty dresses! How many mornings have I wished one of them were mine? Countless!
I had a look on the website – and I am not lying if I say I love almost ALL of them!
Wearing such a dress to my ‘belated’ birthday bash to celebrate the fact that life is awesome and to make up for my birthday spoilt by a guy will be the highlight of my year!

My fiance and I have had a (lovely) long engagement, partly because we spent 6 months travelling around the world promoting positive diabetes awareness (and having the time of our lives), partly because 3 of my best friends live in the USA and we have to give them time to save.

I cannot tell you how excited I am to have all my favourite people in the world together for the wedding – and to have my best friends from South Africa meet my best friends from the USA. I’ve already decided that I want my bachelorette to be girly and fun and flirty rather than seedy and sleazy, so here’s my dream day…

The week before my wedding: everything is organised, there’s nothing left to do but spend real quality time with the people I love. I start the day with a Clarins Facial and Make-Over, and get kitted out with Clarins products from Uitsig Spa, so that my skin will be glowing on my wedding day.

Then I get dressed, in the deliciously flowy and elegant Rosenwerth Haute Couture 005, Tiffany & Co Sunglasses, three beautiful rings on my wedding ring finger (bare for the last time in my life!) and a sterling silver heart pendant and chain from Free Range Jewels.

I gather all my favourite girls and my mom somewhere pretty and leafy, preferably in dappled sunshine and spoil them with Lindt chocolates and Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose, and we spend the afternoon chatting, laughing and catching up… I also really want to play that game where I get anonymous tips from everyone about married life!

Finally, at the end of a deliciously decadent day, I go home to my fiance, taunt him with the Elle Macpherson Intimates and tell him he’ll have to wait a week…
I also slip on my Cinderella designer J. Maskrey Melissa Shoes and imagine what it will feel like walking down the aisle in them.
    *sigh!*

oh boo hoo – I wrote such a long comment and then deleted it by mistake! pick me pick me, I’m clearly so addled I need to win – I need some R & R!

so in short, because the long version got eaten:

I would pick the Haute Couture number 026 from Rosenwerth – it is gorgeous and long and floaty and red. I’d wear the dress to dinner for our 5 year anniversary – along with the J. Maskrey Melissa Shoes (no sore feet – hooray!) and the Elle Macpherson Intimates. And the 3 rings most definitely stacked from Free Range Jewels.

The day before I would have gone for my Clarins facial at the Uitsig spa – definitely do this whole lot over as many days as possible to spread the fun out!
The next day I’d have to eat the Lindt and drink the Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose with my best friend – she would kill me otherwise. Oh and she would help me pick out my Tiffany and Co sunglasses too – how much fun!

    I tweeted too!

Ok 1st things firts, the dress, frock, garment, rokkie I am super inlove with is pret-a-porter no 028, its sleek, sexy, chic and the colour is OH SO LOUD,if this dress had a name it would be mine…now currently Im not engaged and my birthday expired for this year lols….but the above prizes would all be incorporated into a fab “me” DAY, it would be the same like a mental health day; except I could sip on Simonsig and munch choccies…

Ok so ….Id work the entire week running up to the day, so the Uitsig Spa prize would be perfect for unwinding. Id open one bottle of Simonsig at a decent time like midday….:) Id wear my Elle Macpherson Intimates, Maskrey Melissa Shoes And the 3 rings stacked from Free Range Jewels; because being loud and extravagant is about going all out….Id then take a drive to Llandudno or Clifton and meet up with my friends Lindt chocolates and Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose sunset….bliss and a day well spent….of course all in my very loud very orange Rosenwerth “rokkie” xoxo.

My favorite dresses would have to be haute- couture num
bers 002, 003, 024 and 025 (as you can see a big fan, can clearly not decide) would have to be.
My ideal occasion to use all of the amazing gifts: I am going up to JHB the last weekend of November to attend my best friend’s wedding, and surprise my guy living in Gauteng(he is harboring under the illusion that I can’t make it, and my best friend is supporting me in the façade). I’d love to win, as the flights itself and the hotel I booked for me and my man are already expensive.
    In order of usage:
The sunglasses would be put to immediate use – because when is it ever not a good time to have a beautifully framed face J
Shortly before the trip I’d make use of the pampering session to make sure I look and feel my absolute best.
I’d wear the underwear with the shoes for the night prior to the wedding, the girl friends would appreciate the show whereas the man would be sure to show his admiration towards the other piece.
The Lind would replace whatever confectionary awaits in the hotel room, and I would take a whole lot of the bubbly with for the room and some for my friend and her new hubby.
The dress would definitely be worn for my friend’s wedding, with the ring and necklace – as both pieces would compliment my three dress choices.

So yes, I would definitely put all prizes to very good use and would be the most grateful winner ever!

Wow, what divine prizes for a bride and more importantly to spoil her new hubby! Firstly, the dress I would choose from designer Rosenwerth is number 9206 on this page or no. 003 on Rosenweth’s page…it is stunningly elegant and I just know it will take his breath away! I would wear the white diamante Melissa shoes by designer J. Maskrey. These would work perfectly with my dress – and more importantly, I won’t be taller than Sean AND we’ll be able to dance the night away in comfort!
The Clarins products are my favourite. I would have a make up morning with my bridesmaids and I think I’ll keep a more natural look on the day but can’t wait for the pampering building up to it and to see what the make up artist suggests – I’m quite useless when it comes to make up – my hubby to be will be SHOCKED, no doubt.
From Free Range Jewels I would most definitely be wearing a topaz ring. I would combine my engagement ring with just one other that has topaz to match…it’ll look awesome.
The Tiffany & Co sunglasses from Sunglasses Hut will be worn, while I’m still drapped in my wedding dress with Sean in his suit – pants rolled up and tie lost – watching the sun come up to see that brand new day with my husband.
While we’re watching the sun come up on the first day of the beginning of the rest of our lives together we’ll sip on Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose with Lindt chocolate balls to snack on while we dream out loud.
…of course, at some stage before the sun came up he would have managed to see that I had been wearing Elle Macpherson Intimates panties I won – shhhh!

Ah, thanks for letting a girl dream – I’m holding thumbs it comes true 🙂

    Hi Kim

What a fabulous competition! It inspired a delightful little daydreaming which I just had to blog about (http://ohdarlingwedding.blogspot.com/2010/10/wishing-for-win.html)

I’m a bride-to-be and most of these prizes would help me tick off the seemingly never-ending checklist of things to do and buy for the big day.

I’m also going to a friend’s formal wedding in December and I don’t have a dress yet. I went shopping yesterday but didn’t see anything that compared to the gorgeous asymmetrical pink Rosenwerth haute couture dress (011). It’s so stunning!

WOW 🙂 Now this IS a special day! What a prize!

I just love wedding dress 008 – so divine and princess-ish. I can definitely see myself getting married in that lovely dress, with DIA Pear necklace around my neck. I’m tall, so flats would be ideal and I would go with the super glam transparent J. Maskrey pair from Melissa. Some delicate lingerie would be a must. I’d battle choosing which style though, so Savour, Curtain Call, Affair, Sky of Love and Serengeti Plains would all have to find new homes in my wardrobe. (It would be good if the lingerie made me look like Elle while pushing up my boobs!) Before the wedding (or any day of the week actually) I’d have a bunch of treatments at the Uitsig Spa, including a hot stone massage, skin peel and a body treatment … all Clarins products are divine! Afterwards it would be just perfect to enjoy the view from the spa with some Simonsig pink bubbly in hand, my favourite white Lindt balls and some totally fabulous Tiffany shades (STYLE: 0TF4022B).

It would be perfect if I were to have all this on my birthday on 29th Oct as Im turning fabulous 29 on 29th. First I would love to pamper myself and my best friend with a full day restoring my mind, body and soul at the serene Uitsig Spa. Then with a full facial treatment with Clarins that further beautify my skin complexion and texture. I will then choose to put on my favorite garment-Haute Couture 006, it will add on the glow on me with the beautiful soft touch of the chiffons. The putting on my accessories with all 3 rings starting with Topaz then knotted and Amethyst. Then will end up with a nice evening cocktail dark purple pouch and a pair of beautiful dark purple heels from Melissa Disco doc-dog.

Then we will starts my birthday party with the Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose. This would be an ideal beautiful birthday party for me.

What an awesome awesome competition! and at no better time! My sister is going to be the first of us bechet girls to walk down the isle at a gorgeous farm in stellies infebruary. Because my mum is in ct, my sister is in jhb, and I am in durban the whole panning process has been nothing short of a whirlwind palava combination!
It would be so lovely to have a rosenwerth dress to wear to the wedding and not have to worry about finding the perfect dress (an added stress i don’t need at this point)The underwear would be perfect to wear under this gown- no one likes panty lines!
The free range rings (definately worn stacked I have to agree with you) would make the perfect accessory to the soft pink rosenwerth haute coture gown i would wear. I would love to be able to take my sister along to Clarins at the Uitsig Spa with a bottle of champers and a box of lindt heaven for a little r and r before all the chaos of the big day unfolds. The shoes would look perfect on my sister as she is very much a flat shoes kind of girl and we have been struggling to find a beautiful pair of wedding worthy flats for her to wear and i would love to be able to give these to her:) The shades would be packed into her honeymoon bag so when she walks down the beach hubby in hand she can look like a million dollars.

I Love the “little black number” in the Pret -a-Porter range (025) it is a combination of sexy and feminine that really appeals and as they say, every woman should have one in her wardrobe! Special day – Christmas Eve….. we gather at my closest friend for a dinner with at least 25 people ( friends as well as waifs and strays we know are away from their families) where we share food and friendship as well as little gifts.Traditionally, we dress up a little to make it special and I have a collection of photos of our outfits going back many years.
I love bling so the sparkly shoes, stack rings and pendant would have to be worn to add glitz to the occasion.
The pampering of the facial would remove the traces of the tough year and with fabulous panties would raise my self-confidence (you always feel great with great underwear – flirtatious too…) and the sunglasses would be worn on the way there as I normally arrive early (6pm) to help set up and the sun is usually still high in the sky at that time.

The Simonsig bubbles will be shared with the other guests as we toast to another year of sharing while eating or salmon starters. The Lindt choccies will keep our energy levels and enthusiasm up as we wait to sit on Santa’s lap and get our pressies (this takes up to an hour as we buy lots of little cheap / fun gifts to hand out.
Christmas is a special time to remember the gift we have received and to pass it on – not so much with large monetary gifts but rather in time and love that we give to each other.

I would split the prize between wedding day and honeymoon. My wedding day is on the 5th of February next year and is going to be a long day. With the wedding being in the evening I have a whole day to keep myself busy and make sure I look and feel my absolute best for the ceremony! Here I would use the Clarins facial & make-up. The skin analysis is something I could really use in the long run as I have a skin prone to strange breakouts that leave my skin horribly scarred. The products I would take with me on honeymoon so my skin looks fabulous in all the photos! Sipping on the Simonsig Sparkling Wine to calm the nerves accompanied by Lindor Chocolate – what more could a Princess ask for…er…I mean bride! I would take the remaining bottles of Simsonig Brut Rose Sparking Wine for the reception for pre-drinks to accompany the fruit kebabs!

I would wear all 3 Free Range Rings together on one finger – Symbolizing Love, Protection and finally the Knot, symbolising Forever. To finish my wedding dress off, the sliver heart necklace around my neck.

Of all the beautiful eye-catching dresses the one that really stood out for me was Haute Couture dress number 017. My fiancé and I are jetting off to Mauritius for honeymoon and I immediately pictured myself in this dress on a catamaran sunset dinner cruise. (the one thing on my itinerary to do no matter what) – Sipping champagne and the summer breeze playing with the fabric of the dress. The light weight fabric will make it the perfect dress for the tropical climate. The colours of the dress are absolutely striking and reminded me of the volcanic sands in Mauritius. The colours of the sands range from deep purples to hues of pink, orange and pine. The colours shout tropical romance! With my hair styled up, this dress would be perfectly completed with a pair of Tiffany shades –a serious must have for summer and any tropical island! – and Melissa Ultragirl pumps in transparent.

I’m a dreamer – always have been – and always will be. I’m 45 years old – nice and mature i hear you say. No longer 16. But doesn’t mean i’m not 21 at heart. So i continue to dream and guess what – at this mature stage in my life – my prince charming finally came along. Yes he did.

We are getting married on the 11th of December – and whilst he is so lovingly arranging the majority of all that is required – he is a man – and has left some things out and i hate to ask for more!!!

So winning this would be awesome. Would compliment my wedding day coming up on the 11th of December.

I would start my wedding week by chillaxing at UITSIS SPA – it’s tough work getting ready for a wedding. So being pampered by Clarins (best in the west) would rid me of unwanted knots and laugh lines!!!!

A few days later – i would lay back in a bath of bubbles, giggling with my bridesmaids, all sipping merrily on SIMONSIG KAAPSE VONKEL BRUT ROSE (pink bubbles really do it for me) – but that’s not all – ever allowed a LINDT chocolate to melt in your mouth???!!!! Pink bubbles and dark Lindt chocolate is a combination to die for. All this – in a bathtub – with a pair of TIFFANY shades on my head – earth shades will suit me fine thank you. Man oh man – what a feeling. I’m a Princess – but i would very quickly transform into a Queen. I just love the finer things in life.

Ok – so my big day arrives. Richard has bought me the most stunning wedding gown – but sadly, alas, no dress for the after party. Nor sexy underwear. Nor shoes. What was he thinking? A half a job only. Ok – so a girl has to do what a girl has to do. She enters competitions. I will complete the look of my wedding gown (under is just as important as outer) – with the sexiest and most feminine of lingerie – finished off i might add, with a pair of MELISSA shoes – SPARKLING, SPARKLING, SPARKLING.

But now come evening – i have to lose the wedding dress. Ok girls – i know what you are thinking. Lose it for just a while – and then throw on something that just happened to be in my suitcase – a sexy little number. Wink! Wink! A ROSENWERTH dress – but this i can’t choose. I’m a typical Libran – can’t make up my mind when so many beautiful choices available. So here i will call on my gorgeous daughter and best friend to make a choice. Only condition is – MUST be a ROSENWERTH.

So i will continue to dream – I WILL WIN THIS COMPETITION – cos my almost perfect wedding – has to be COMPLETELY PERFECT with the help of KIM GRAY.

    It’s great to be alive.

My husband and I couldn’t afford any of the things mentioned when we got married in 1991. My favourite Rosenwerth dress is the blue Haute Couture 001. Blue has always been my favourite color! Unfortunately (due to chronic medication I have to take daily) my fingers have swollen to the point that I can no longer wear my wedding and engagement rings. We can’t afford to buy new ones so I would LOVE to win the 3 rings and wear those every day in place of my wedding set. The necklace, I think, would look lovely with the dress. I would definitely wear the sunglasses daily as my eyes are very sensitive to glare. The Bubbly and Lindt chocolates I’d share with my hubby! We’d make it a special day by renewing our vows and, if possible, spend the night, after a small “reception” for family and close friends. We never had a “proper” honeymoon and it’s been a dream of mine for many years to do this for us. The shoes are gorgeous and look comfortable too … very important for me! I’ve never won anything in my life – this would be a dream come true, because we ALL deserve to feel like a princess for a day! I live in Cape Town – PLEASE consider me and I promise to tell EVERYBODY I KNOW HOW AWESOME ALL THE SPONSORS’ PRODUCTS ARE!!

WOW! What an awesome competition!I’d like to enter in the hope of winning this prize for my brother’s wedding in Oct 2011. After a 7 year courtship, he has finally proposed to the darling Antoinette, (& I had the privilege of picking out the engagement ring!)and she has excitedly accepted. I’ve been appointed as the wedding planner, so I would select the wedding dress 003, as it’s the one closest to the style she desires (you know the dress J Lo wears in Maid in Manhattan? Gorgeous!), with the support of luxurious Elle Macpherson panties. Antoinette’s been babbling on and on about how she would like take her entire bridal party for beauty treatments prior to or on the day of her wedding, so I think her generosity would deserve for her to be pampered like the princess she is. She also has quite a bit of acne that she’s desperate to clear up before her big day, so I think Clarins would do a great job of helping her with this little problem.
Knowing her heart, I’m sure she would bless each of her bridesmaids with these stunning rings, as part of their wedding jewellery, and definitely wear the necklace on the day.
I think Antoinette would keep her gorgeous Tiffany sunglasses for her honeymoon (as I know they’re hopeful of a boat cruise to the Seychelles or Mauritius).
The Lindt and Simonsig Rose would definitely be packed in for the honeymoon, together with those delightful Melissa shoes(after being worn for the ceremony as well).
I think Antoinette is deserving of this prize, as she’s had to endure many hardships during the course of her young life. She’s a driven and passionate young lady with a real hunger for life and adventure. I am excited about receiving her as my new sister, as we’re already such great friends in the Lord.Thank you for the opportunity to enter, God bless.

In all my excitement of pampering and preparing – i left off the jewellery. Now what is a princess without silver and gold??? I ask you. Rings, rings rings – bring them on please. FREE RANGE JEWELLERY is a must. I’d wear them on my fingers and i’d wear them on my toes – just because i can.

And the heart pendant and chain around my neck – or around my insy winsy tiny waist for future hubby to find!!!!

    Hi,

My wish is not for myself…but for my darling daughter who will be turning 21 on the 12 th December. Every day of being her mother has been an honour and a joy. She has been my sunshine and my best friend and I am not able to give her the 21 st birthday celebration she so deserves. On top of it all she is also graduating and I am so proud of the young woman she has become. So, I do not want to design her dream day, but I know she will be eternally grateful for any combination of what is on offer. For you my angel… Mom

How to pamper a girl hey? Wow, what exciting prizes – they would all definitely slip straight into my dream wedding!

To start it all off, of course, the wonderful wedding dress! Which girl doesn’t dream of some form or vision of a beautiful angel walking down the aisle, painted in a dream of white…or ivory! I can see my handsome prince’s face now as I approach him in the gorgeous ivory number (wedding 05). A mixture of edgy elegance and soft femininity – edgy neckline, fitting the curve, then an explosion of fluffs, puffs, and netting – wow wow wow!

Little does he know that my gorgeous and super comfy Elle Macpherson Intimates add that little something extra by giving me the confidence and comfort to strut my beautiful stuff all the way down the aisle and beyond! With my trusty undies and my gorgeous grey Melissa Oceans adding a peek of colour, I’ll feel like I should be on the runway!

And of course any model…oops I mean bride needs a clean, fresh, beaming face – courtesy of Clarins and Uitsig spa of course! What better than a facial and makeover to get a girl smiling? And the glow will continue long afterwards – thanks to my now expanded knowledge on my own skin thanks to an expert skin analysis, and let’s not forget, the Clarin’s products to enhance all my best features!

Let us not forget this day isn’t all about me – I need my trusty girls by my side! And friendship, though reward enough in itself, should be recognised and appreciated! How better than with some beautiful jewellery from Free Range Jewels. The Sterling Silver Gilded Knot Ring is perfect for my maid of honour, for her long dainty fingers and the fact that our lives have long been and forever will be intertwined. The sterling silver heart pendant and chain for my beautiful cousin, my first bridesmaid – my heart has long been touched by her laughter and grace. The Sterling Silver Amethyst Ring for my third bridesmaid, the artist, for her ability to bring new, exciting colours and flavours to my life. Which leaves the Sterling Silver Blue Topaz Ring for me…perfect. My favourite colour and one of my favourite stones.

For all our beloved friends and family sharing this magical day with us – Champers and chocolate all around! These people are all incredibly special to my fiancée and I, and although we could never show them enough love and thanks for the input they have placed into our lives, we can sure spoil them as much as possible! Popping several bottles of Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose and indulging in one or two delectable Lindt chocolate balls will hopefully make them feel all that much more special!

Once the party is over and the night is well on its way, I can still look forward to donning a beautiful pair of Tiffany&Co sunnies on the honeymoon! What better way to end a perfect day?

First off, WOW what an awesome competition! Whilst I have been UBER excited at the prospect of planning a wedding and everything that goes with it, I have also been having sleepless nights about what it all amounts to. Getting married is most definitely not for the faint-hearted (or the broke. Should I win this prize, it would not only be a fabulously decadent experience, it would definitely help me sleep easier at night. And this is why…
I would pick wedding dress 002 from the bridal gowns range. What a beautiful, flowing masterpiece! I have never considered wearing anything other than a white or ivory coloured dress before, but I am absolutely SMITTEN with this pink number!
I would take advantage of the day at the Uitsig spa a month or so before the big day. Then I would use the Clarins products from my skin analysis everyday leading up to it, to make sure my skin is healthy and glowing on the day.
As for the exquisite jewellery from Free Range… I will wear that knotted ring on my right hand on my wedding day. It’s just too perfect! The heart pendant will be around my neck throughout our honeymoon. Lastly, I am lucky enough to have a great soon-to-be-mother-in-law and wonderful mother. I will save the other 2 rings for them as a thank you and remembrance of our special day.
The Tiffany eyewear is a must for the island style honeymoon we are planning on having – love the heart tag! There will be no frowning for this newlywed on honeymoon! ?
I am definitely planning on dancing the night away at our wedding and these Melissa shoesies sound like a winner for the dance floor! Funnily enough I have been searching for a ballet pump with a difference for this exact purpose. Coincidence? I think not!
Comfort and sensuality is a winning combination, so I will be sure to wear my new Elle Macpherson Intimates bottom on the very special day and showing it off later on that same evening (heehee).
Even though Lindt is my absolute favourite chocolate (especially the white one, mmmmm) I will be nice enough and share the hamper with my bridesmaids the night before the wedding.
The 12 bottles of Kaapse vonkel I would use as welcoming drinks for the guests as they arrive on the (hopefully) warm day with freshly cut strawberries inside each glass of pink bubbles… Delish!
I can see it all now, and it is B-E-A-UTIFUL, so please, please, PICK ME!
Tweeting for a second entry as Antoinettekriel and will post on my blog for a third!

If a girl tells you that she’s never thought about her future wedding – she’s fibbing. We all know that each and every one of us has been thinking, and plotting, and planning our very own special day since the moment we knew what dreams meant.
Which is why, when I got engaged, my heart sank.
Don’t get me wrong, I mean I cried because I was so over the moon ecstatic, and I laughed hysterically because I was completely taken by surprise (clever boy) but also, at the back of my head, I knew that with a ring, comes a wedding, and a wedding means BIG expense.
I’m not going to feign poverty here – because I’m not broke and my fiancé (eeek) and I will be able to have a beautiful wedding with personal DIY things that will make it unique and special to us. I just know that my taste is so awfully expensive that I’m not going to be able to have the things that I always imagined I would.
And then I found your blog and this competition and I thought maybe, just maybe, the Goddess of Good Stuff will shine down upon me. So here’s my list:
The dress that I would go for would, without a doubt be wedding001 because it’s beautifully elegant, it swooshes when you twirl, and it will achieve that jaw-dropping effect on my fiancé – which is perfect.
I’d give each one of my bridesmaids a ring as a token of appreciation – because I have no doubt that I’ll be calling on them at all hours to ask for advice and tell them ideas I have and get their valued opinions, as well as to find out if they’re happy to wear big puffy orange meringue style dresses (that they can of course, shorten and wear again) so that they don’t outdo the bride – because they’re all so dam gorgeous!
And the champagne and chocolates – no way I’m sharing that stuff. We’d enjoy them in a very sultry way in some of our wedding photographs. A nice change I think, from our usual face-pulling, joke-around pictures that we have together
    The rest is easy.
The sexy underwear would go under my elegantly sexy dress, coupled with the sparkliest of sparkly shoes. And the glasses would be worn for most of the day to take the glare off of aforementioned sparkiliest of sparkly shoes. The spa would be a definite treat the day before D-Day to unwind and let the excitement and nervousness of the next day sink in. And last but not least, the heart shaped pendant, I would give that to my mum. For no other reason than because I love her with all my heart and soul.

Turning a crisis into a fairytale… with Kim Gray

The characters: Hanlie & Erik (whatever soul’s are made of, theirs is the same)

    The time: 27 March 2011

    The venue: Paternoster (somewhere)

The dilema: Hanlie; an uber stylish bride to be, sex and the city devout & our regular fashion go-to-girl is tying the knot; the lucky groom Erik, a doting fiance, master chef & super cool guy. There is just one wee speed bump in this otherwise fairytale inspired story. Between moving house, writing super stressful unisa degree exams till end November, working full-time
for non-other than Cruella de Ville and still being up for all social engagements, Hanlie has had absolutely no time to make
wedding arrangements, since their engagement. A small hurdle you’d think; but no…! For those of you that have taken those vows, you know the long, journey to the isle is littered with invites, graphs, mile-long to-do lists, pie charts and the infamous seating arrangements for no less than 150 guests, all of which are close friends and family (it’s a burden being the popular kids;)

The solution: well just picture this… (all thanks to Kim Gray and the super-hero save the day sponsors!)

3 days before she says her I do’s, Hanlie is as jittery as a long-tailed cat in a rocking chair factory, lists litter her home and Erik has been banished to his study. “Is everything done?” she asks herself. The rings, flowers, catering, decor hmmmmm… Wedding overload starts to kick in; when much to Erik’s relief she is swept away by her maid of honor. Their destination is the idyllic and luxurious Uitsig spa, where our dragon-bride is transformed into Cinderella minus the ash and soot by the clarins equipped team. Sporting a beautiful complexion and super-yummy clarins scent & products for her wedding day, she is free to relax and enjoy every moment leading up to the I do’s.

The day has arrived, excitement sets in as Hanlie slips on her exquisite Rosenwerth bridal gown with the black and white trim, and it’s flowing grecian lines making her the most dazzling bride. Aaah but wait! She needs to add the finishing touches, something old, something new, something borrowed & something blue! The magnificent sterling silver blue topaz ring takes care of something blue, a sterling silver heart pendant and chain which she has saved to complete her grecian look is ofcourse her something new but what of the sterling silver amethyst ring and sterling silver gilded knot ring? Well we’ve ammended the time-old quote, it now reads, “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue all complimented with a hint of bling!” and so she stacks both the rings them for maximum impact, babababling! The bride to be and her wedding entorage sip on their glass of heavenly Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose while enjoying the decadent Lindor Lindt truffles, the milk chocolate ones melt in her mouth as the saying she has lived by for months now “indulge and you bulge” is swept permanently out of her mind, her dress fits perfectly, and she looks stunning, wedding days are for indulgence after all!

The moment that she walks down the isle, the oooohs and aaaahs echo through the church, the beautiful couple tie the knot in a special ceremony, a ravishing bride and her handsome groom both glowing and happy.

The celebration takes place outside along the beach, bubbly pink glasses of Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose are enjoyed by their family and friends. It is a beautiful March summers day, the fashionista bride sports her brand new Tiffany & Co Sunglasses with a wedding dress, a true statment to her individuality. The Jakie O photograph taken by Jean Pierre Uys will grace their lounge wall for years to come a reminder of the perfect day.

Their first dance is magical, “just the way you are” by Barry White plays in the background, one can’t help but believe in true love watching the happy couple as
they sway around the dance floor. Hanlie does her twirls and swirls in her super-sparkly J. Maskrey Melissa shoes which will carry her through the night, even when dancing to’ pretty fly for a white guy’, ‘going back west’ and heaven forbid ‘kaptein span die seile’ (we all know it happens when it gets late;)All the girls get to take an envious peek at her splendid footwear when Erik raises her hem to remove the garter. The night is beautiful, the couple in love and stylish as ever enjoy their celebration with friends and family before being whisked away to the “top secret honeymoon location”… And as for the Elle Mc Pherson intimates that carried Hanlie confidently through her big day….well that is not for me to speculate, all I know is they have a whole-lota lindt chocolate and luuuuurve between them!

I am writing this entry on behalf of my beautiful fiancée’. She keeps on talking about this competition. I must confess unlike many of the entrants I haven’t dreamt of my wedding since I was a little girl running around preschool pretending to marry princes or imagining what flowers I would have at my wedding one day. Nor do I get weak at the knees when I see a beautiful wedding dress or cute flower girls throwing confetti.
What gives me goose bumps and makes my heart skip beats is the way my fiancée looks when she imagines our wedding! A gleam in the eye, an instant adrenalin rush when she has a new idea for the desert table or our first song. Her excitement, enthusiasm and dedication to our wedding is what makes me believe that this prize is not only about winning your special day, but rather a prize for the entire journey!

The dress that I would like to see coming down the isle to greet me would have to be Haute Couture no.009. I think my fiancée would steal the show in this and would feel comfortable and elegant in it. Our wedding is not a rigid, pretentious affair, but rather a personal, friends & family wedding on a beautiful wine farm, I believe this dress would compliment the occasion.

With all my second family coming in from around the globe, I would send my fiancée, her sisters and mother all for the Clarins and Uitsig Spa. During the pampering process, they would receive a few bottles of the Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose delivered by “ a man on a horse” exactly like the guy from the Old Spice adverts, with no shirt on. The remainder would be used for the picnic that my fiancée and all the girls will be having in the winelands the day before our wedding.

The Free Range Jewels would be handed out to the 3 brides maids as a gift for sharing and contributing to the special day.

The Tiffany & Co Sunglasses from the Sunglasses Hut will be awarded during a prize giving during my fiancée’s hen’s party. Each entrant must write a word on a piece of paper that best describes the bride & grooms relationship, these are then put in a hat and whoever writes the best, most interesting or worst will win the glasses.

The Lindt hamper will form part of our desert table that will be filled with all sorts of sweets, cakes

    J. Maskrey Melissa Shoes will be put on when the dance floor kicks off! My fiancée will light up the dance floor with these guys as the light catches all the little diamonds on the shoes she will look like she is on fire!!!! They look really elegant as well as comfortable which is key!

The Elle Macpherson Intimates will be my prize! The image of my now wife in these panties will be blowing my mind throughout the day! I will steal a brief look when I take the gautier off, then when I have carried her over the mantle piece………….

As you can see this prize is not just about one day but rather a once in a lifetime journey that every girl should go through! The joy that this journey is bringing to my fiancée is really what gets me and this prize will add to this journey immensely!!!

I would love this prize, as I am planning a renewal of vows. Our 13th wedding anniversary is coming up on the 6th December.

The dress that I like is Pret A Porter 037. Stunning colours, beautiful flowing dress. With J. Maskrey Melissa Shoes to match. What an outfit!!

I would share the day with hubby (Stephen) and my two boys, Caleb (7) and William (2). Friend and family are always welcome.

Definitely in need of the Facial, Make-over and Clarins products, as I want to look stunning on the day.

I would where all three rings. The Blue Topaz for Caleb, the Silver Amethyst for William and the Silver Gilded Knot Ring to represent our bond in marriage. The silver heart pendant and chain will definitely make it complete.

Sunglasses – a girl can never have too many!!! I would definitely wear them on the day, as it is going to be the nicest sunniest day ever.

Lindt chocolate always goes down well, with all of us. You can never have too much chocolate!!

Now the Elle Macpherson Initmates will have to be kept for that evening. One can only imagine………..

12 Bottles – wow – 1 bottle will definitely be kept for the evening. The friends and family will definitely enjoy this, as everyone loves a great bottle of Brut.

For this prize. I’ll see to it that I organize a special evening with my friends! I love all of the dresses, but Haute Couture 011 is my favourite. Simple, yet elegant, soft, pink, dreamy, who wouln’t feel like a princess? The rings are simple and beautiful. To be treated for a day would be lovely. The bubbly I’d share with my friends, perhaps while watching the sunset. (a good reason to use the sunglases until the sunset) The Lindt, sorry that will be my secret treat in my handbag:)

    October 29, 2010 at 10:10 (6 years ago)

My husband and I have been happily married for 3 years. My sister helped arrange our splendid wedding. I was a bundle of nerves and excitement right up to our wedding day. However I woke up with Gastro the morning of my wedding day! My family did everything they could to try and fix me up but nothing worked. After all the arranging, effort, money and love that went into arranging my wedding I only stayed an hour – which was combined with smiling for a few photos, saying hi to family and quality time with the bathroom. My husband then decided that it would be better to leave and took me back to the guest house (where we were spending our wedding night) to help doctor me back to health. While I slept, he watched TV and made sure I had everything I needed.

    I will never have the chance to re-live my wedding day but I can attempt to renew my vows, and here’s how I would use the prize;

2 weeks before the day of our vow renewals I would attend my skin consultation so that I can prep up my skin before the big day. 2 weeks will give me enough time to see the wonderful results of using Clarins. On my “big” day I would head out to Uitsig for a day of pampering and have my make up done for the event!

As this would be the second time around I would choose a dress of colour and have my guests wear the white. When I saw the dress “Haute couture 009” I knew this was for me. I love the summer and nothing says happiness and summer than a bright yellow. With my Elle Macpherson undies under my dress I am bound to feel beautiful and sexy in one package! I would wear all 3 rings together to compliment the layering in the dress. The heart pendant to complete the look – rustic romantic summer. The final touch will be the pretty pair of Melissa Shoes! I am going to have to go with the Melissa & Jean Paul Gaultier design in Orange! Isn’t it a fabulous shoe?!

After the ceremony I would invite some close friends and family to join us for some Sparkling wine (this is where the Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose comes in) while we have group photos taken! A chocolate buffet table close by to serve with the Sparkling wine and double as a thank you gift by giving the guests little boxes to fill with Lindt chocolate to take home with them.

After the celebration I put on my Tiffany shades and ride off into the sunset with my husband…again!

There once was a girl called Sam,
Who would rate herself a huge fan,
    Of Rosenwerth couture dresses.
Frock 3 would be her choice she confesses,
& wearing it she found the perfect man!

He quickly became a happy camper,
As Sam treated him to a Lindt hamper,
With a dozen bottles of Simonsig Brut Rosé,
They snuggled down and got very coséy,
And thanks to Clarins they also had a good pamper!

He said “You have such lovely eyes,
Tell me what’s between your thighs”
“A slinky pair of Elle Macpherson pants”,
She proclaimed with a rave & a rant,
With a wink he knew he was in for a surprise!

Down on one knee, Free Range Jewels in his hand,
Blue Topaz & Amethyst, the best in the land.
    Right then he proposed,
    Why ‘YES’ she supposed,
And so the wedding was planned!

Sam & her sweetheart are just wed,
And already he wishes he was dead!!
    Two weeks she’s been spending,
    It was time never-ending,
He is thousands of rand in the red!!

Her obsession for fine labels became rather frantic,
For J.Maskrey Melissa shoes she’d cross the Atlantic,
Big Tiffany sunglasses she loved to wear,
Her poor destitute husband had begun to despair,
But he still spoilt her rotten as he was a hopeless romantic!

    They lived happily ever after,
And enjoyed a life filled with laughter.
    Thanks to Kim Gray,
For the prizes she is giving away,
If we win the party will be a blaster!!

We are certainly no poets, but a lot of fun was had writing this – not to mention the late nights spent squabbling like kids over rhyming words and syllables – but “teamwork is dreamwork” as my fiancé often says! Our Wedmin is way behind thanks to the poem, but it will be worth it all if we are lucky enough to win this incredible competition!
Our actual wedding day is fast approaching on the 29th December 2010, and in true romantic style I have dreamt up a winter wedding in a Scottish castle. So our big day will hopefully be filled with snow, bagpipes, Christmas trees, Scottish dancing, family, laughter and a lot of fun!
This incredible prize will start the proper countdown off with a bang (61 days | 6 hours | 36 minutes & 10 seconds) not that we are counting!!!
    But in all seriousness:
    • The lindt hamper will be scoffed by my fiancé (I am desperate to not have a muffin top in my wedding dress so the diet countdown is on!)I will however get him to save me some to have on our honeymoon in Morocco!
    • The Simonsig Brut Rose will be enjoyed by 28 of my best girlfriends on my hen do in a couple of weeks.
    • The clarins spa day will be used with my incredible maid of honour before we fly to Scotland – oh and slightly crazily I am doing my own make-up on the wedding day, so the make over will be greatly appreciated as I need all the help I can get!
    • The Elle Macpherson pants will be worn on my actual wedding day – underwear is honestly one of my only things missing off my list at this moment for things needed for the big day!
    • The J Maskrey Melissa Shoes will be slipped on on the wedding day when the Scottish reeling begins – they will be my dancing shoes!!!
    • The free range jewels will be my presents to my gorgeous bridesmaids and maids of honour!
    • The tiffany sunglasses will be needed to ward off the glare of the snow glistening, and the blue blue sky on the wedding day (what!? Yeah right I hear you shout – blue sky in Scotland doesn’t exist – what can I say – a girl is allowed to dream!!!!!)
    • And the stunning Rosenwerth dress will be bought & worn for my little brother’s wedding day in April next year!

    Wow.
This competition and the array of gifts/prizes certainly merit some attention. Anyone who is planning a wedding seems to have a constant battle to keep within budget – therefore these gifts are even more sensational.

I always planned to come in with a romantic and creative last-minute fable. However, the reality is that some bloke has already done the cheesy male story, which I suspect was written by his fiancé. And the limerick by “Sammy” is a show-stopper for me – well done!

Wishing all you a romantic weekend.

This is an absolutely brilliant competition 🙂 I’m getting married in about a year, and this would really make the wedding of my dreams possible.
I love dress Haute Couture 026. I would ask for it in white, so that it can be worn as a wedding dress.
About two weeks before the wedding, I would go to Uitsig spa for the makeover, so that my skin can be glowing on the day.
The jewellery would be kept, and worn on special occasions. When I then have daughters I will pass it on to them.
The sunglasses will be needed for after the wedding, as the lack of sleep will make my eyes hurt in the sun 😉
The Lindt hamper would be saved for the honeymoon, as we both love swiss chocolate, in all flavours and forms.
The Elle MacPherson bottoms would be worn underneath the wedding dress.
The J. Maskrey Melissa Shoes (in blue) would be worn after the ceremony, for photos, and dancing.
The Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose would be used at the wedding, as it will be a small wedding. The bottles that are left over will be taken along on the honeymoon.

My beautiful bundle of joy is due to arrive at the end of November 2010.

My body has somehow turned into this incredible incubator and I can’t wait to hold my precious Aleandro!

A bottle of the Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rose champagne would be opened on the day of his birth at the birthing clinic and shared with my closest friends and family who will be there on my baby’s first evening in this world, admiring God’s uniquely painted sunset.

A bottle would be shared every day thereafter.

The Lindt (my favourite chocolate in the world!) Hamper however, would secretly be had only by me, with the occasional sharing with my fiancé, if he happens to be in the right place at the right time!

I would love to get spoilt at Constantia Uitsig Spa. Wearing little more than Tiffany & Co. sunglasses and a robe, listening to the tranquil waters and admiring all that is beautiful while waiting for the pampering to begin. Even if possible, treat my fiancé too. I have had a wonderful pregnancy as a result of him having all of my pregnancy symptons!

A Clarins Radiance Ritual Facial would be divine, maybe even a 2 hour Clarins Spa Experience. I would even treat myself to a Spa Pedicure, since it has been a little while since I have been able to give each of my toes undivided attention! I would also treat Warren & I to a Full Body Hot Stone Massage-Just thinking about it at this moment makes me excited…

My special day would be the christening of my son. The Rosenwerth Haute Couture Dress No. 003 is stunning. An extremely feminine, flattering dress with understated elegance, caressing my figure and accentuating all that is beautiful. My skin radiating as a result of the pampering from the day before, as well as the Clarins make-up makeover.

The sterling silver heart pendant with chain, the sterling silver gilded knot ring, as well as J.Maskrey Melissa Shoes would be the perfect accessories to this dress. The flesh coloured Elle Mcpherson Intimates bottom would definitely make me feel like a really sexy first-time mommy!

What a joy it would be to be spoilt in this manner!

Sexy purple dress (haute couture nr 019) – looks loose enough to allow for a lot of chocolates; flat shoes (heaven! I can even lift my legs in those shoes!); buckets full of chocolates and bubbly; proper sunglasses to view the sunset over the Atlantic ocean; a light breeze to cool the red from my cheeks (bubbly does that to me); peace and quiet alternated with some stunning symphonic orchestra playing just for me – what more can a stressed and tired woman ask for..hmm.. maybe a butler to keep my glass full and see that I get to bed in one piece – oh yeah – a spa and makeover the day after to salvage some of the decadent damage – think I’ll wear the panty underneath my gown – hope I get a good masseur…

Whoever wins this comepetition is certainly going to be one lucky girl! Sounds amazing…

After one of the most stressful years of my life this would be an amazing package to unwind and spoil myself with! The spa treatment will gett rid of all those knots and tension in my back and hopefully do some good for my poor face which has been neglected. As for the dress, I love Haute Couture 1, but probably in black because as we all know every girl needs a little black number. I would dress it up wearing all three rings stacked, and the silver heart necklace, paired with a comfortable pair of J. Maskrey Melissa shoes. I would try very hard to save the pink bubbles and indulgent choccies until Christmas to share with family and friends (but I’m not making any promises!). But the sunglasses and slinky underwear would be all mine I’m afraid.

    Aaa, bliss…

I can’t believe that competitions like this still exist. I liked the black pants with camisole $ over top. I’m a single mom and I’m turning 50 next year. I’m planning to have a big bash for the 1/2 century birthday. If I win this, I’ll be able to make a grand entrance with my lovely outfit and accessories. It will be like Cinderella arriving at the ball. I’ll share the Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rosé and Lindt chocolate with my special guests. The day before the celebrations, I’ll indulge myself in all the special treatments to be able to look relaxed and like a fairy princess on the big night.

This competition is so fantastic especially since I am in the process of planning my wedding and while I have checked a number of things off the ‘to do’ list I have no idea what I’m going to wear! Winning a Rosenworth dress would be sublime – who wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle in a designer dress? I love the elegant style of haute couture 026 and weddings 001 really took my breath away, I particularly love the blush pink colour. The shoes would be positively fabulous because I’d prefer to wear a flat shoe – my fiancé is slightly taller than me so I’d prefer to keep it that way rather than towering over him. Plus it’s the perfect amount of bling – beautiful and sparkly yet it won’t quite outshine my beautiful engagement ring. It would be really perfect to have a sexy pair of knickers to wear beneath my dress – as I’ve mentioned I have NOTHING organised for myself.

Prior to the wedding I know I’m going to need something to calm my nerves, a facial at a spa would be too divine and it would be fabulous to have a new beauty regime to keep my skin in check prior to my big day. Whatever the facial can’t help, I’m sure the bubbly and chocolate will – chocolate and sparkling wine are my two favourite things and to combine them will be happiness squared. Plus I’ll be getting ready with my four siblings at my brother’s house and since we’re all chatty, loud and intense I think we could ALL use some chocolate and bubbly to keep us in check. I’d also swipe a few bottles and pack them in my suit case so that my fiancé could have plenty of toasts during our honeymoon.

Since we’re having a lazy summer lunch wedding a pair of hot shades is a must and I’m currently looking for a beautiful, classic pair of glasses to wear on the day. The silver heart would be superb to wear on my wedding day, it’s the perfect understated accessory and since a wedding is all about love it would be great to let my heart hang out! The rings would be great to give my bridesmaids – who are my sisters, Sue, Vix and Cath. Having already bought a knot ring for myself and for Sue I know that Vix REALLY wants one. The topaz ring would be perfect for Sue because it is her birth stone and the amethyst would look absolutely beautiful on Cath.

I proposed to my beautiful girlfriend on Friday,16 November 2007.

I believe that if I were to present my fiance with all of the above prizes on this day, three years later, that it would convince her to set a date for us to finally get married.

The yellow wedding dress would adorn her figure exquisitely!

Every piece of jewellery that I have ever given to her followS the heart theme, and therefore she would adore the heart pendant!

My love never wears high heels- the shoes would make her feel like a princess!

On every special occasion, I spoil my love with white Lindt chocolate.

She loves pink – the champagne would be a perfect indulgence!

My love deserves a lot of pampering. She is always of low maintenance. And a make-up makeover would make her look even more like a goddess to me!

The underwear would definitely make her feel sexy!

She would wear her sun glasses every day, and choose a ring to match her mood every morning!

My fiance is truly deserving to be called my wife!

What an amazing prize! I don’t live in the Cape Town region but for this prize I would gladly make my way over there. I would use these prizes to plan a small, intimate wedding. I simply adore the 006 wedding dress which would be perfectly accessorized with the heart chain, knot ring and Melissa Swarovski pumps(in clear). I would love knowing that underneath that perfect dress, I have a beautiful Elle Macpherson intimate wear on. The beautiful pink bubbly will be shared with guests as well as the Lindt which I would use to create those Lindt tower cakes that I’ve always admired. I like the idea of a morning wedding so I can see myself in those sunnies as I wave goodbye to my guests and leave for the honeymoon. Thanks for the chance to day dream!

Where to begin.. I would use all the prizes in one week! 🙂 I would start with the uitsig spa and clarins and let them pamper me. Next I would slip into my Elle Macpherson Intimates and have a boudior photo shoot with my sunglasses from Sunglass Hut…all things beautiful should be captured. While having make-up and hair done wearing my comfortable Melissa shoesI would spoil my bridesmaids with rings from Frre range jewels, Lindt and Simonsig. Lastly I would put on the dress from Rosenworth Haute Couture and start the next chapter of my life. 🙂

Hi Kim and wonderful sponsors. This is the competition of the year. THANK_YOU for all the hard work of putting this together. Even the thought of this inspires hope.

It is my darling and my fifteenth anniversary since we got tog but tenth year since the wedding. Several sleepless nights (due to him delivering babies and due to our own 2 waking up) and “helping people” (he worked in the grootes schuur labour ward, now with infertility – I work in HIV) we neeeed some romance for our romantic celebration. Here’s how its gonna go down:

All to take place at uitsig winery – his fam, my fam and our darling friends who have GOT US THROUGH IT ALL. With my little girls in gourgeous white lace!

1 facial @uitsig spa (my v dry dry skin is screaming for it))
    2. products for DRY skin (the CLARINS hydra mask come to mamma)
    3. Eau de Jardins! My actual wedding used a whole bootle of Dynamissante but this is for NOW deliciously summer
    4. Sipping the Simonsig Brut Rose in the bath already – big day butterfly excitement in a bottle – the other 10 bottles for the function and the last for after.
    5. Poopping red Lindor balls of choc in mouth – getting one in the luxurious mood.
    6. black dress – pret a porte row 3 no 5 or 15 th in the lot (sexy, sublime, sophisticatd – SO “i’ve been married ten years but i still got it)
    7. Free range stacking rings plus silver heart pendant. My engagement ring never happened so I’d wear the amethyst beauty with my wedding ring – my birthstone, but to be interchanges with gourgeous topaz icy blue when the outfit calls for it; the knot ring for my other hand – nothing else says we made it and we still going strong like this.
    8. Tiffany frames black frames with grey lenses please to match my dress – seriously could i look any cooler?
    9. J Kaskrey Melissas – if i told you how long i’ve coveted a pair you would not believe me – perfection in a smart shoe
    10. Sipping more Simonsig Brut Rose with our guests and popping more red Lindor balls of choc as we end a PERFECT day
    11. And those hard working Elle Macpherson intimates that would have hidden a panty line, flattened a tummy will come into their own.

    BRING IT ON

    Hi Kim

I can’t tell you what I would do with all those fantastic prizes. Because I am entering the competition to hopefully win and spoil the love of my life and my fiancé, Michelle. So how she decides to use them will be up to her.

She is a very special lady and deserves to be spoilt rotten. A few brownie points (estimated brownie point value: 12 gagigazillion) will always help when I come home late from yet another boys night 😉

    Regards
    Graham

well well well… where does a girl start, or stop… (dreaming that is!!)

I would plan the ultimate girls road trip before the big day for my sisters and best girl-friends to paternoster on the west coast, my favourite spot – where we’ll indulge in a “bubbles and balls” picnic on the beach in the exact spot where Graham proposed! So, sorry boys, but the “gals” will polish off all the Simonsig Brut Rose and Lindt choccies to ourselves! No sharing! & I’m afraid that the lovely undies from Elle would need to be sacrificed, and be pinned to the roof of the infamous “Panty Bar”… at the Paternoster Hotel. Come on! It just HAS to be done at least once in your life, and these are no ordinary undies!

Now, as you know very well, after a road trip with the girls, I’ll look a little less like my usual super model self, so I’ll require my Tiffany & Co Sunglasses to hide behind, while rushing back to the Uitsig Spa to get whipped back into shape with my Clarins facial, make-over and miracle creams (they’ll need to be miracle workers, believe me!)

The two stone rings from Free Range would make perfect pressies for my two sisters (performing their duty as bridesmades)… while the heart necklace I would give to my mum… just because she has the biggest heart in the world. The knot ring I would wear & keep, to remind me further what a lucky girl I am!

For the “big day”… I adore the simple grecian style of the Rosenwerth Haute Couture 005 – the grey dress with floaty soft layered skirt… perfect for a relaxed beach wedding with a little touch of classic drama. Plus the non-traditional colour would compliment my silver or black gem encrusted Melissa pumps! OR maybe i’ll carry the pumps instead of a bouquet??
they are to pretty to hide under a dress!!

Seriously though, the dove grey dress would blend perfectly with our chosen setting for our nuptials – ie: the pale grey rocks of Oudekraal Beach… aaaahhhh… can’t you just feel the waves lapping at your feet while we promise each other eternal love…? Oi Vey! I’m getting all light headed just thinking about it!

    so that’s my little story… hope it inspires… 😉
