So what does a stylist do over her holiday period ? Get as far away from shopping centres as possible! I spent the last 5 days in sheer bliss, absorbing nature, food, friends, sun and living in the now!

A night spent on my friend Carla’s wine farm in Malmesbury was so relaxing and the food and fresh air made for a really good nights sleep!

New years eve was spent at the “Best venue in the world” (quoted by the very well travelled Goldfish), Kirstenbosch. Picnics were packed and long hours of queueing were to be had. But it was well worth it. Goldfish were talentedly brilliant!

The next 3 days were spent reading, reflecting, walking and heaps of  R&R in Betties Bay.

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday, and if you still have some left, lucky you. Back to the grindstone for me tomorrow, but at least my batteries will be charged! Have a happy 2009!
