Origami 101

I had to do some origami the other day, for the first time ever I think, for my stationery shoot I have yet to show you. It really got the nuts and bolts in my brain ticking and I had to start off with something very simple. I tried the gorgeous Wentworth Miller’s origami crane from Prison Break, but I had to backtrack and go a little more simple as seen here with my origami duck 😉

Origami dress by Sandra Buckland . Sandra creates amazing sculptural clothing through wool, paper and even hair. I have a long way to go before doing a dress!

Here is the pattern to fold your own Origami duck. I found it on www.origami.com . There are hundreds of other patterns to try! I’m sure you can do better than I did!
